Hello September!
It’s the ninth month of

year! Three more months and 2021 is a wrap! I know it’s been one heck of a year already! What with the mutating variants of COVID-19, what with the weather, what with the economy!
We often set our goals for the year early in January. One of my goals was to read 20 books by the end of the year. I figured if I read five books a month, I’d hit 20 comfortably in December. Of course, life happened. There are months I fell off track but I am almost there.
What were some of your goals for this year? How far are you in realizing them nine months on?
While you are at it, here’s a quote from Elif Shafak’s Forty Rules of Love to power you through the rest of the year:
“Patience does not mean to passively endure. It means to be farsighted enough to trust the end result of a process. What does patience mean? It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn.“
PS: September, please behave!
